1- The personality of God (7a) – “The Lord is good”

- Psalm 34:8

2- The protection of God (7b) – “refuge in time of trouble”

- Isaiah 43:1b-3a

3- The perception of God (7c) – “He knows those who trust in Him”

- Exodus 33:13

- Philippians 3:10-11

- Jeremiah 1:5

Discussion questions for groups, for family, and/or for individual introspection:

1- How can you help someone understand that, amidst all that is going on, God is still good?

2- Aside from this pandemic, can you think of a storm God saw you through in the past? 3- On a scale from 1-10, where would you say you are in your intimacy with God?

4- We learned that both Moses (Exodus 33:13) and Paul (Philippians 3:10-11) wanted to know God better. What do we need to do to know God better?

5- In what way do intimacy with God and trust co-exist?
